Currency strength meter
Each currency's change against the US dollar since the previous daily close, compared with the average of all eight. A positive score means the currency is outperforming the group today; a negative score means it is lagging.

Cross matrix: % change of the row currency against the column currency
Method
For each of the eight currencies we take its percentage change against the US dollar since the previous daily close (the dollar's own change is zero). The strength score is that change minus the average change of all eight currencies, so the scores always sum to zero: above zero is stronger than the group, below zero weaker. The matrix shows the implied change of every pair; for example, the EUR row and JPY column is EUR/JPY. Inputs are the live EUR/USD, GBP/USD, AUD/USD, NZD/USD, USD/JPY, USD/CHF and USD/CAD quotes and their previous closes.
