Market heatmap

About this page

A colour map of percentage changes over about a day, week or month across forex, metals, energy, indices, crypto and stocks where data is available. Colour is for quick comparison only, not a trade recommendation; some prices may be delayed.

How to read the market heatmap

Tiles are coloured by percentage change over the window you pick (about a day, week or month): green for gains, red for losses, with stronger colour for larger moves within the scale shown. Coverage includes major FX, metals, energy, indices, crypto and leading US stocks where price data is available.

The map is a comparison view, not a ranked recommendation list. A strongly green tile is not a buy call and a red tile is not a sell call. Compare the move with liquidity and trading hours; some prices are delayed and the data source is shown with the quotes.

Data and limits

Changes use closes or the latest available price from Invvex’s usual feeds (including Yahoo Finance where that applies). Outside trading hours the map reflects the last session. A small, volatile name can colour strongly without implying deep liquidity.

How to read the colours

Green usually means the instrument is up over the chosen window and red means it is down; stronger shades mark larger percentage moves. Compare symbols inside the same asset class first (for example majors versus majors) so a quiet FX pair is not judged against a volatile crypto name. Click through to the instrument page or the economic calendar when you want the story behind a move. Colours are descriptive only and are not buy or sell signals.

Frequently asked questions

Is the heatmap advice?

No. It only visualises percentage changes.

Why are some tiles still?

The market may be closed, the quote delayed, or a live feed for that symbol may be unavailable right now.
