UAE-licensed forex brokers

About this page

Forex and CFD brokers that serve UAE clients, with each licence checked one by one in the official registers of the UAE Capital Market Authority (CMA), the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of ADGM (FSRA). Every entry shows the licensed entity, the licence number and a link to the register. No ratings.

Today’s summary: The list currently has 18 brokers: 10 licensed by the Capital Market Authority (CMA), 9 by the DFSA and 2 by the FSRA; some brokers hold more than one licence.

How to verify a broker’s licence in the UAE

Forex and CFD brokers in the UAE are supervised by three regulators, each with a public register: the Capital Market Authority (CMA, formerly the Securities and Commodities Authority) at federal level, the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) in the DIFC, and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) in ADGM.

To check a broker, take the legal entity name and licence number from its page here, then search for them in that regulator’s own register (the register link sits next to each licence on our list). Make sure the name and number match, that the licensed activities cover the service you want, and that the website where you open the account belongs to that same licensed entity.

One brand often operates through several entities in different countries, and a licence held outside the UAE does not necessarily cover UAE clients. Check the regulator warnings page too, for clone sites that copy well-known broker names.

How this list is built

We check each licence by hand in the official register and record the date of the last check. The list is alphabetical with no ratings or rankings, and being listed is not a recommendation to trade with a broker.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between CMA, DFSA and FSRA licences?

The Capital Market Authority (CMA) is the federal regulator for financial activities in the UAE outside the financial free zones. The DFSA regulates firms in the Dubai International Financial Centre and the FSRA regulates firms in Abu Dhabi Global Market. Each keeps its own public register.

Does a licensed broker mean I cannot lose money?

No. A licence means the broker is subject to rules and supervision; it does not protect you from trading losses. Leveraged CFD trading is high risk.

How often is the licence data updated?

We re-check the registers regularly, and the date of the last check is shown next to each licence. If anything differs, the official register is always the reference.
